Talent was on display in the John C. Birdlebough High School auditorium as students recently took the stage for the eighth annual talent show.
The evening featured 15 acts ranging from comedy to music to karate. While all the student performances earned the audience’s approval, Meghan Lees’ rendition of “Stone Cold” received the most votes and she took home top honors.
In addition to Lees’ performance, other musical acts included Jose Cavelino on the drums; Zachary Thompson on the piano and vocals; the Melodica Club’s “Movie Medley”; vocal duets by Zack Van Gorder and Zach Thompson, Hannah Nicole Grabowski and Evan Logee, and Chloe Koegel and Ned Greenough; vocal performances by Emily Forget, Olivia Ripley, Trinity Hessler and Alyssa Harrington; and a musical comedy dubbed the “Nostalgic Sandwich Project.”
Non-musical acts included Catherine Barnhart’s motivational speech/comedy, Alexis Bowering’s karate demonstration and Samantha Zerbinos’ spoken word poetry.
